The first mathematics fair was created by the Mathematicians Association and TOBB Technology and Economics University between 30 April-02 May 2014. The Fair oppening was done by the Industry and Technology minister Fikri IŞIK. The fiar in the TOBB exhebition hall was visited for 3 days. The mathematics project, the projects who survived the Physical learning material and Digital Learning Material and made it to the finals met with visiters. Kerem AYGÜL and Yusuf Efe TEMİZTÜRK joined the competition with their teacher Selçuk ARSLAN’s consultancy. Our students’ project Easy Mathematics’ aim was to teach children maths skill and to teach them to love maths. On the award ceremony our students’ project came first in Turkey in the “Digital Teaching Materials” branch on 02 May 2014. Our students won an ultrabook as a 1st prize.
30 Nisan-02 Mayıs 2014 tarihlerinde Matematikçiler Derneği ve TOBB Teknoloji ve Ekonomi Üniversitesi tarafından 1. Matematik Fuarı düzenlendi. Fuarın açılışını Bilim, Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanı Fikri IŞIK yaptı. TOBB Sergi salonundaki fuar üç gün boyunca ziyaret edildi. Matematik Projesi, Somut Öğrenme Materyali ve Dijital Öğrenme Materyali projelerinden finale kalanlar ziyaretçilerle buluştu. Kerem AYGÜL ve Yusuf Efe TEMİZTÜRK de öğretmenleri Selçuk ARSLAN danışmalığında yarışmaya katıldılar. Öğrencilerimizin Kolay Matematik isimli projesi çocuklara matematik becerileri kazandırmak ve matematiği sevdirme amacı taşımaktaydı. 2 Mayıs 2014’de yapılan ödül töreninde öğrencilerimizin projesi “Dijital Öğretim Materyalleri” dalında Türkiye Birincisi oldu. Öğrencilerimiz birincilik ödülü olarak ultrabook kazandılar.
